Or here's a good tip. Gather them up, peel off any bad spots on the skin, put them in scalding hot water for just a minute (to kill the enzymes and preserve their shelf life) and put in Blender or dice up and freeze in plastic Baggies. I use the Gallon Size for mine. This is a great way to enjoy Fresh Tomato flavor all Winter long.
