Penny�s Spicy Chili
1lb of ground beef, turkey or chicken
1 chopped onion
4 cloves of garlic
1 medium sized chopped pablano pepper
2 tablespoons of cayenne pepper (I like it spicy!)
2 beef bullion cubes
2 tablespoons of fresh chopped cilantro
5 tablespoons of Gebhart Chili Powder (this stuff is good!)
1 can of crushed tomatoes (or 8 to 10 fresh crushed tomatoes with juice)
1 can of pinto beans
2 cups water
1 small can of tomato paste
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Brown the meat, onion, garlic and pablano pepper in an 8 qt sauce pan. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for about 20 minutes. All ingredients can be adjusted to fit your spicy or not so spicy pallet. Great with a nice glass of Sangria!
